The Rediscovering
Religious Roots Resource is a program to help
people rediscover their
native culture, language and religion. When people participate in this
program,
they also help to create a resource center for other people to study
what they
learn.
We provide scholarships for
people to study their original culture, language and religion. We are
also a
resource center for the cultures they study.
Phase
1
When we accept a candidate to
receive the scholarship, we activate the scholarship when the candidate
creates
a report that includes:
1) Where they want to go.
2)
What they want to study.
3)
How they propose to study
it.
4)
A general academic report
on the area, and what the state of the native language, culture and
religion
are. In essence, the candidate must define what is known about the area.
5)
A proposal for how they
want to advance what is known for that area.
Phase
2
The second phase of the
program involves the actual field work of going into the area and
carrying out
the proposal.
Phase
3
The third phase involves
creating a project in the area that the candidate is studying. The
project must
leave a lasting positive influence on the area that s/he has visited.
It must
promote the practice of the native religion and the use of the native
language.
Phase
4
The fourth phase involves
creating a project back at home that will help people in your community
to
integrate with you, your work, the area you studied and what you intend
to do
in the future.
If you want to participate in
