The Order of Monastic Acupuncturists
A program wherein
Acupuncturists go to monasteries and nunneries to teach and perform acupuncture
with the aim of bringing the monastic community to a level of medical
self-sufficiency.
The methods we use in
this system are very similar to the ones in the World Indigenous Medicine
Network. The main difference is that we expect nothing in exchange for the
training.
We encourage the monastic communities that receive acupuncture training to participate in our database by sharing their insights and discoveries. We believe that over time these communities will develop powerful hybrid acupuncture systems of their own that can benefit the world in great ways.
